Hadith which explains the virtue of reading to the Prophet is a lot. And if we collect those hadiths, then it is inferred that reading shalawat has the virtue of which is as follows:

A. Kiss of Prophet Muhammad SAW In Dreams
In the past there was a shaleh mengistikomahkan read shalawat every day night when going to sleep. Suddenly he dreamed of seeing Prophet Muhammad SAW. As if going to his house, so the house became bright luminous, then he was unmarked "Give me a mouth that read a lot of shalawat for me to kiss".
Hearing the Prophet's words, I felt embarrassed and gave him my cheek, then kissed him. Then I wake up from my sleep while my house is still fragrant as perfumed oil, while my kiss cheek cheeks are also fragrant for eight days.
B. Charity that can lead to Heaven
There is always a sholeh bershira met Abu Hafah Al-Kaghidi, and asked: "What charity that causes you to enter heaven?".
He replied: "When I was before the Lord, and commanded by the Angel to account for the deeds of my deeds, suddenly they got my sins, but my reading of the Prophet (s) was enough, so Allah said to the angels:" Enough , do not go on and bring him into heaven ".

There was a man when he had a pilgrim always read the Prophet's prayers. in all the mustard places. And when asked by someone: "Why do not you recite the mastur prayers of the Prophet in this particular place?"
Before answering the man's question, he first asks for forgiveness and then explains that he has been on a pilgrimage with his father and when he reaches Bashroh his father suddenly dies, his face turns black as khimar and he is very sad to think of his father. In the meantime he finally fell asleep, and in his sleep he dreamed of meeting the Prophet Muhammad SAW. then he held his hand and told him his father's condition, then he said: "Your father is usury, the usury of the usury is indeed the case, but your father every night read the shalawat for me a hundred times, so when told by the Angel about your father's situation, I ask permission to give intercession for your father, and your Lord has permitted it ".
Medengar explains the Prophet in a dream, he suddenly wakes up and sees his father's face, which now turns like a full moon, and after being buried, he hears a voice saying: "Your father's salvation because he likes and often reads shalawat to Prophet Muhammad SAW.
Well since then he swore, that he will not leave reading shalawat in all circumstances and wherever he is.
